Confrontations: A Scientist's Search For Allen Contact By Jacques Vallee Ballantine Books, 1990, 263 pages, illustrated. |
| French-born astrophysicist Dr. Vallee is one of the leading proponents of the theory that UFOs are not extraterrestrial vehicles but are instead some form of intelligence from perhaps another dimension or from another alternate reality, perhaps UFOs even represent a metaphysical force. Vallee details his disagreements with the E.T.H. (Extraterrestrial Hypotheses). Some of his arguments include the fact that there have been too many sightings over a too long of a period of time for UFOs to be merely alien visitors according to our astronauts. It is Vallee's contention that ancient writings medieval folklore and fairy tales contain real tales of these paranormal beings that in his opinion have interacted and manipulated mankind for centuries. Vallee is renown for personally investigating cases that have a high degree of strangeness. In Confrontations he tells of his case studies of apparent injury and even death caused by UFOs in South America. This book is highly recommended for all those interested in alternative stories to the ETH theory. |
